As a modern company, Huta ArcelorMittal Warszawa must efficiently use energy media and fuels. To achieve this, we introduced a control system for the consumption of these factors, set goals and carried out activities that improve the energy efficiency of the Plant.
These achievements were appreciated by independent auditors. In September 2017, Huta ArcelorMittal Warszawa received a certificate of compliance of the implemented energy management system with the requirements of the international ISO 50001 standard.
In connection with the participation of ArcelorMittal Warszawa in the compensation program for energy-intensive companies, we would like to inform you that the ArcelorMittal Warszawa entrepreneur received assistance under the government program entitled: “Aid for energy-intensive sectors related to sudden increases in natural gas and electricity prices in 2022.”

Based on the Regulation (EU) No 1227/2011 of the European Parliament and the Council from 25 October 2011 on wholesale energy market integrity and transparency (“REMIT”) and guidelines of the Agency for Cooperation of Energy Regulators (“ACER”) ArcelorMittal Warszawa publishes planned and unplanned units’ shutdowns.
