Marek Kempa
COO
Marek Kempa took the office of CEO of ArcelorMittal Warszawa on 1 January 2013.
From 2010 to 2012, he was CEO of Huta Królewska, a subsidiary of ArcelorMittal Poland.
Between 2006 and 2009, Mr. Kempa worked in Huta Królewska, first as head of the marketing department, and later as head of SAP implementation project and continuous improvement and production support department manager.
He is an enthusiast of COS- and WCM-based management.
Prior to joining the ArcelorMittal Group, Mr. Kempa worked as an alternative fuels specialist in the company Alba, and spent a few years working in the Netherlands, i.a. as a trade specialist.
He holds an M.A. degree in management from the University of Economics in Katowice, and a Bachelor’s degree in marketing from the Katowice School of Economics.
